As 2011 comes to a close we would like to reflect on what a great season it was for the Patriots and SV Sabers. We had amazing effort from an outstanding group of coaches, board members, and our Patriot and Saber families. We all worked together to achieve spectacular results. Also, we enjoyed an unprecedented amount of financial donations from local businesses and sponsors. We’re very grateful for all the support and are already hard at work planning for even greater success in 2012.

Cowboys stop Patriots, punch ticket to Florida

After a great run the Amherst Patriot Pee Wee’s season came to an end in Worcester today at Foley Stadium.  The Pee Wee’s fell to the Mount Hope Cowboys in the New England Regional Finals by a score of 25-6.  The Patriots gave a great effort, played hard until the very end, but were not able to keep the speedy Cowboys out of the end zone.  For the second year in a row the team from Providence, Rhode Island will advance to Florida to compete for the national Pop Warner title.

For the second year in a row Coach Sean Smith and his staff have a team one win away from a trip to Florida.   The Amherst Patriot Pee Wee’s will compete for the Division 2 New England Championship this Saturday at 10:45AM on Foley Stadium in Worcester, Mass against the Mount Hope Cowboys from Providence, RI. (winners of the Ocean State League, for tournament brackets click here)

Patriots beat Billerica, Advance to NE Finals

The Amherst Pee Wee’s traveled to Taunton, MA on Sunday to face the undefeated champions of the Pop Warner Football Conference of Eastern Mass, the Billerica Scouts.  The two teams battled scoreless for the first half. The Patriot’s made a huge stand with time expiring in the second quarter to keep the Scouts out of the end zone and the score 0-0.
